Das erste Querflötenkonvent in Bolivien fand in Juli 2012 in La Paz statt. Das Projekt wurde durch Initiative von Ivan Denes in Gang gesetzt. Das Organisationskomitee mit Vivianne Asturizaga, Sarah Mendieta, Carla Claros, Justa Copa und Ivan Denes schrieb das Projekt und fand die Finanzierung. So konnten zwei internationale Gäste wie Eva Amsler (CH/USA) und Tanja von Arx (CH/Argentinien) eingeladen werden. Das erste Querflöten Wettbewerb in Bolivien (mit 15 Wettbewerber und 3 Preise in 3 Kategorien) wurde durchgeführt. Insgesamt 44 Flötisten nahmen bei den ca. 20 verschiedenen Aktivitäten (Workshops, Meisterkurse) und den 8 Konzerten während der Wochenaktivität teil. Durch die Unterstützung von 12 Sponsoren konnte das ganze stattfinden.
2013 wurde die Konvention in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivien durchgeführt. Ivan Denes konnte nicht teilnehmen, weil er andere Verpflichtungen hatte. Die Idee wäre, das Konvent jedes Jahr oder jedes zweite Jahr zu realisieren.
La 1a convención de flauta traversa en Bolivia, realizada en Julio del 2012 en la ciudad de La Paz, fue un proyecto inicado por Ivan Denes. Formando un equipo organizador junto con Vivianne Asturizaga, Sarah Mendieta, Carla Claros y Justa Copa, escribieron el proyecto y buscaron el financiamiento. Para la semana de actividades se logró tener a dos flautistas internacionales invitadas , Eva Amsler (CH/USA) y Tanja von Arx (CH/Argentina), 44 participantes, el primer concurso de flauta traversa en Bolivia (15 participantes, 3 categorías y 3 premios), 8 conciertos y 12 auspiciadores.
Después de esa convención, se ha realizado en el 2013 el mismo evento en la ciudad de Santa Cruz, sin embargo, Ivan Denes no fue parte activa de la organización. Se espera mantener el evento anual o bianualmente. El equipo de organizadores trabaja flexible y cooperativamente para organizar la convención de cada año.

On 2013 the convention was made again, this time in the city of Santa Cruz, but Ivan Denes didn’t take active part in the organisation, because he couldn’t go. It’s espected to realize the convention every one or two years. The organisatory team works flexibly and coorperative between his members for the organisation of every convention.
